Passion for Teaching

Our founder:  JENNIFER LAWRENCE is an experienced educator who provides advanced training and coaching to business professionals in the United States and Asia. She has shared her expertise in marketing and organizational effectiveness with client companies across a range of industries, including medical technology, pharmaceuticals, photoelectronics and energy, banking and insurance, consumer goods, entertainment and media, retail, and professional services.

Before founding Cambridge Corporate Training, Jennifer served as Managing Director of Executive Education at Harvard Business School, where she created a highly rated re-entry module for participants in the Advanced Management Program. Prior to HBS, Jennifer was a marketing professor at Boston University, where she was awarded the Broderick Prize for Outstanding Teaching.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has conducted research for management education. A Harvard Business School case series that she authored was voted “Best New Teaching Case” by HBS’ marketing faculty. The Academy of Management chose Jennifer’s research on assessing the effectiveness of professional development for its Best Paper Proceedings and honored her work with the Barry Armandi Award for Management Education and Development.

Prior to serving in academia, Jennifer was a marketing executive at Reebok International. As Vice President of Marketing, she returned its largest subsidiary to profitable growth by developing a global brand strategy and restructuring the marketing organization. While at Reebok, Jennifer repositioned the Walking product category and built it into the global market leader, with double the market share of its nearest competitor (Nike). Earlier in her career, Jennifer served as Director of Operations for Multinational Strategies, a political risk consultancy serving global Fortune 500 and government clients.

Jennifer received Master’s degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and in Education (M.Ed.) from Harvard University.
